Our last day in Britain, we have had such a good time.
All of Tammy's plans and bookings done nearly a year ago over the internet from 18,000 miles away have worked out without a single glitch. Every rental, room reservation and event booking. Fantastic.
Today we are repacking the bags for Finland. The next part of our adventure.
Here it is warm and sunny, at home it is cold and snowing. Snow at Port Sorell.
So, we have four hours left in England before we need to be at the airport.
We've left our bags in storage and off we go.
What to do, where to go?
We could jump on the tube and find a nice town.
Shopping, history, museum, explore, but having discussed Stevens past record with flights, and the fact we haven't yet missed a plane or train, we thought we would play it safe, and arrive at the airport in plenty of time.
So we opted for a game of ten pin bowling. Steven was in fine form, and managed three strikes, and two wins. He then celebrated with a couple of beers, that he had to consume due to the weight of the luggage. He thought this would calm the nerves prior to tackling the airport and customs.

We returned to the hotel for lunch and a pint, then ordered a taxi for the airport. The taxi took one hour to arrive, so the plenty of time started to shorten.

Steven found an airport pub.
We arrived in Helsinki at about 12.30am and found Tammy's friend Anna-Maija.
Anna- Maija drove us to her house in the dead of night along a 2 lane expressway way with practically no traffic on it we noticed that the men with the lawn mowers and brushcutters were out cutting the grass on the highway. They prefer to do it when there isn't much traffic around. Around 2.30 am the sun started to rise. We went to bed at 3.00am accompanied by a nice sunrise and a warm 15 degrees.
